4-Hydroxybutyl vinyl ether (HBVE) is a building block for macro monomers and monomer for vinyl copolymers as well as reactive diluent for UV coatings. HBVE is used in adhesives for labels, printing and flexible packaging
Applications
Ethoxylated HBVE can be applied in water/solvent based hydroxyfunctional Vinyl polymers, cross – linked with Poylisocyantes and Melamine resins for usage in concrete.
Cationic, charge transfer and free radical polymerization process can cure HBVE.
Shelf Life
Under proper storage conditions, the shelf life is 36 months
